-Instead of L having a British accent, he will have a Brooklyn accent like Joey Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh! If not, his role will be played by Seto Kaiba.

-And the favorite scene of many yaoi fangirls in episode 25 will be taken out because it looks like L and Raito are having a homosexual relationship, rather than it be a biblical reference.

-As for Misa, all of her outfits will be edited so that it is below the knees.

-All the guns will be replaced by invisible guns (ex. Yu-Gi-Oh once again)

-Then for the matter of the numerous character deaths, they will come up with excuses rather show their death:

L – suffered from a diabetic seizure
Raito – sent to stress management (or proper villain training)
Higuchi – sent to get a much needed makeover
Matt – sent to rehab for doing illegal drugs
Yotsuba Group – goes bankrupt
Aiber – returns to his home country of France and is never seen again
Watari – sent to work for Batman in place of Alfred
Mello – becomes a terrorist and is arrested by the FBI
Takada – becomes a supermodel
Lind L Tailor – sent to counseling for having bipolar disorder
Wedy – is recruited for the next National Treasure movie
Soichiro – goes into a much needed retirement
Naomi – joins the FBI again
Raye Penbar – goes on vacation in America
Other FBI agents – goes on an adventure in the Caribbean searching for pirates
All criminals judged by Kira – sent to Australia as it is still believed that it is a penal colony
